Kara-Lynn & Ben at the West Carleton

Posted on June 27, 2008

In part 2 of our weekend wedding double header, we were in the west end at the West Carleton. If I had to pick one word to describe Kara-Lynn and everything she does, it would be “energy”. From the word go, this day was a whirlwind! Add the cool, calmness of Ben and we have quite the team!  Great day you guys!

Katie & Matt’s Wedding!

Posted on June 18, 2008

While it looked pretty scary in the morning for rain, we ended up with perfect weather for Katie and Matt’s wedding. With the ceremony at Notre Dame Cathedral, and reception at the Ottawa Rowing Club, we had a pretty much flawless day! Thanks to you both and your fantastic families for a wonderful shoot!

Maternity session with Michelle

Posted on June 13, 2008

It was a perfect cool morning in the Gatineau Hills for a maternity shoot with Michelle. This is the fourth time we have had the privilege of working with this beautiful family and it’s a pleasure watching the kids arrive and grow up! This new one has a lot of cuteness to compete with!

Pssst - Wanna meet a great couple?

Posted on June 12, 2008

Last night was really cool. I met Julia and Mark at the Experimental Farm for a wonderful shoot. You would have to hit these two with a brick to stop them from looking so cute all of the time. Thankfully there were no bricks and they made my job very easy. Now I really can’t wait for their wedding in August!

A baby shoot with… what them again!?

Posted on June 11, 2008

Okay, I have to explain this one so that Melissa, Jason, and Kale don’t appear to be stalking me. Before the last shoot I did with these guys, I admittedly forgot to put the date in my calendar and ended up being late for the first time in 6 years. I gave them a studio shoot to make up for my intense guilt and I’m glad that I did - it was great!

Laura & Andrew’s Wedding

Posted on June 10, 2008

Last Saturday was spent entirely on the Quebec side which is always nice. We started in Aylmer, ended up in at St Columban church north-east of Gatineau and then back in Aylmer at the Chateau Cartier. Laura and Andrew were nothing but great to work with even for our first 30C+ wedding!

A few pics from the weekend…

Posted on June 4, 2008

This past weekend was booked off so Stephanie and I headed towards Quebec City through, Mauricie, Shawinigan, Trois Rivieres, and a night on Ile d’Orleans. This area is stuffed with amazing history and beauty and well worth the visit (especially being so close). I didn’t do that much photography because of the weather and the fact that I was supposed to be taking a break but here are a few shots that I liked.
